  1. This sounds exactly like what's happening to my family's house currently. A Belgian investor decided he wanted to make big money off Detroit homes, so he ended up buying ours from Fannie Mae. A lady came by the house to see if the property was vacant, but not once did she ask to come in and inspect the premises. She, nor the foreign investor she works for, know anything about the condition of the property; the house isn't in the best shape, but she doesn't even know the full extent of what she and her partner invested in. Makes me think that all they want to do is just fix it up a little bit so they can flip it. She's really putting the pressure on us for us to leave.
